O.K…..So maybe we didn’t exactly find a mermaid, but a mermaid definitely found us!
After a beautiful day of sailing from Lorain, Ohio to Whiskey Island in Cleveland, Ohio we got a message from some friends asking if we’d like some company. Of course we would! We love seeing our friends, so we made plans to have dinner with them at the marina restaurant, The Still and Eatery. We’d been working on several projects and the boat was a wreck, so we did a quick tidy up and hid all our messes as best we could.
Bob and Mary arrived soon after, and they must know us pretty darn well…they came with a bottle of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum (one of my absolute favorites!) and a four-pack of Coronado Idiot IPA beer. Not only is IPA our favorite style of beer (both of us!), but the logo was a mermaid! Could not have been much more perfect than that!
